About this policy
This policy describes how NourishNote handles information when you use its meal analysis and report features.
Information we use
When you sign in through ChatGPT, the app receives your account identifier, email address and, when available, name. We use your account identifier to associate report usage and purchases with your account. We process the meal descriptions, photos, portions, ingredients and notes you submit to produce nutrition estimates.
AI processing and service providers
Meal descriptions, submitted photos and confirmed meal details are sent to Google Gemini for AI processing. Submit only food information needed for your report, and avoid photos containing people, documents or other personal information. OpenAI Sites provides hosting and sign-in, Cloudflare provides application infrastructure and storage, and Razorpay provides checkout. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies; we do not promise that their processing is limited to India.
Reports and payment records
The app stores generated report results, your account identifier, report timestamps and usage status. It also stores order and payment references, selected packs, amounts, credits and payment status. Submitted photos and raw meal descriptions are not separately saved in the app database by the current analysis flow, although generated reports can include details derived from your input. This does not control retention by service providers. Payment details entered in Razorpay checkout are handled by Razorpay; the app does not store card numbers, CVVs or UPI PINs.
Public reviews
If you submit a review, we store it with your account identifier. Your star rating, chosen public name, review text and update date are visible to everyone. Your account email and identifier are not included in public reviews. You can edit or delete your review in the reviews section.
Browser storage
Your browser stores acceptance of the Health Disclaimer and Terms in local storage. Clearing browser storage removes that remembered choice. Sign-in and hosting services may also use cookies or similar technologies for their operation.
Purpose and retention
We use this information to generate reports, manage report allowances, verify payments, prevent duplicate processing and handle support requests. The current app does not automatically delete completed reports or order records on a fixed schedule. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion; we will review requests, including records needed for payment reconciliation and applicable obligations.
Your choices and contact
You can choose text entry instead of uploading a photo and can stop using the service at any time. For privacy questions or data requests, email nourishnote.support@gmail.com using the email associated with your account. Do not send passwords or medical records.

We will update this page when our practices change.
